Hi from Sydney, Australia
Just new to this forum as i just purchased my dream watch the Submariner 116610LN at the beginning of the month. Just love the watch and can't stop wearing it. Now i want a Panerai maybe a Pam 111 or 177.
Was also wondering if anyone can help as i got quite a big scratch on the clasp and was wondering what the best way to get rid of it. Thanks in advance. |

Welcome to TRF Jimmy!
Congrats on your new Subc LN. A popular watch, and for good reason! Enjoy the boards and join in anytime, Rob. PS: Here's a great tutorial from our reference section (Linked below) that may help you with your scratch if you choose to DIY!! (Read post #3) http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=44158

Thanks guys for your quick responses, already loving the forum. thanks heaps Rob as the thread is exactly what i was hoping for. I'm still tossing up on whether to get it done professionally or DIY. Love my watch but everytime i see the clasp my heart skips a beat. Oh well, I guess there will prob be many more scratches over the years to come...

Welcome Jimmy. Scratch can be removed by Scotch-Brite you just have to rub it on the same direction of the original mat finish and must not rub on the side where the polished part is.
