Zenith Daytona WG Questions

Hi Guys,

I am going to buy the Zenith Daytona (1996) in WG with Diamonds for my Mom. My Questions for the Experts :

Does it look overpolished?
Asking Price of 17900 Eur is ok?

Can't tell but seems high. I know Zenith brings a premium but being 23 years old would diamonds be worth a premium as well. WG but no bracelet and possible service needs. I think you can do better for that kind of money.

Seller also says Its a rare nacre dial (for Zenith)

Also looks well polished and that Bezel doesn’t look good either.

It certainly looks much better. That isn’t a zenith (4030) movement though, it’s the rolex in-house (4130) movement which is much better in my opinion.

The problem is you could get a 4-5 year old 116509 on full gold bracelet with the new clasp and new Bezel for around €20000 with some careful shopping around so €18000 plus for a much older model on strap is still overpriced.

Thanks for the Input.
Yeah i was looking at this model with bracelet (blue dial) but my mom really likes the one with Diamonds and leather strap. Actually i was looking for a daytona beach pink but here in Austria nearly impossible to find.
But i will keep looking...
