Early W&D watch - So-called "Series 0"

Hello dear members,
I'm having a look at one interesting (IMHO) watch, coming from 1917 and said to be a "0 Series".
The seller is stating it's an original "0 Series", based on its appearance and serial numbers (serial 9459, but the first "9" stands for british market, so the right serial should be "459"), with a date code of "b" that should match year 1917.
Any opinion on this item would really be welcome.

Thanks

Nick
