Old gs dial or the new dial

Im just curious what people think of the new gs lgo on dials or perpfered the old seiko dial with gs on bottom? And why?

I like the old up/down style as it goes back to the early 60s, and I'm a vintage Grand Seiko fan, but I think the new style looks better on certain dials, especially the busier/fuller ones. As long as the "GS" logo is on there somewhere though, I'm happy.

I prefer the newer dial - cleaner - but would buy either.

IMO the #1 thing they need to do is get the spring drive power reserve indicator off of the dial. I believe they recently released a model with it on the case back, which is good.

I prefer the old. #1, I’m not ashamed it’s a Seiko. #2, Albeit beautiful dials, there’s a lot of real estate on those dials and I think they are sometimes too plain (or barren?)
