Submariner 116610LN End link choice.

Following on from previous post asking about Oysterflex sizing which I got some awesome advice about and nearly ordered the wrong size had it not been for a few very helpful members on here I’m now in a position to order my end links for Submariner 116610LN.

I’ve contacted smarty and he has agreed that the normal Submariner ones will not fit with the oysterflex as the spring bars won’t fully engage into holes as the OF is pretty chunky.

So I now have 2 options which smarty has kindly offered to do so I’m hoping for a bit of advice from people that have done both.

1. Go with the original Sub 116610LN ones and grind a bit of material away to allow OF to fit properly.

2. Order the Daytona ones and have the centre link brushed.

My question is which will give the best finish in regard to following the lines of the shoulders of the Sub case, do the Daytona ones fit in size but do not look as good as the sub ones in regard to the look against the shoulders of the case or are they the same look but just a bit slimmer in size?

Sorry for rambling on, hope I’ve made some sense!
