Try posting in the general discussion area, and not make the question so vague. There are many models, and many years that will determine the value of a Rolex. Be more specific, what model are you looking for?

Assuming cheap is lowest price on a decent running watch i guess an older 70's DateJust non quickset model 1570 anywhere from $1000-$1500. You probably mabe able to get one for $800 but it may need to be serviced.

Good Question
Well...you could FleBay it and get a simple precision that is in good serviced condition for about 700 bucks...it will keep good time and be a rolex...maybe even get one with a date...haha...you will just have to wind it every day...or i would do what paypalbid said and try to pick up a 70's datejust, they are cheap and plentiful...I have seen a bunch at the local pawn shops, and if you know what to look for you can find a great deal.
