Engraving inside back of Bubbleback

The model and serial engravings on this watch have worn off, so I don't know what I have. I took it to a jeweler friend and had him remove the back to identify the movement and see what was engraved on the inside. What, if anything, can be determined by these photos?

The hand engravings (numbers/Letters) on the inside of the back are service marks. Watchmakers used to scribe them when a service was done.

Seems as though the Rotor?? is skimming off the back of the case. Some real damage there.

Somebody with way more knowledge than me will enlighten you further.

6048 is the model number of the watch and it is .585 gold which means 58.5% pure gold, also known as 14 Karat.

32mm watch, very small for todays standard

Amazing what you will sometimes see inside a watch ... just a good lesson why one might want to see movement photos. You can clearly see the damage to the gold case-back. I actually think someone may have filed down the steel rotor to allow it to turn, instead of doing a proper repair (there even appears to be a missing screw ... bizarre).
