Patek 5712gr & Rubber B

Just purchased the Patek 5712gr, love it, have had all the 5712s and think this is the prettiest.

I have never been a two-tone guy, but after buying a 5980ar, Patek just does it right.

I ordered two Rubber B's black and grey. Can't decided on which color rubber to put on. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

I used the grey strap... not too bad to change, only hard part are the small screws. Very important to have solid/strong tools!

Looks really good!

Is it easy to switch straps?

Yes!

Just took a long time because the screws were so small.

Hideous. The bracket is so beautiful, it doesn’t make sense to exchange it with a black chunk of rubber.

bracket = bracelet

and op's example came on a leather strap. the rubber is sporty and nicely echos the striated dial design. to each his own.

You can't change from bracelet to strap. The configuration is completely different. This is only for leather strap models. I have one and it's very practical in terms of going on the water, sweat etc.

I'm a fan of how the grooves on the band compliment the dial. Feels OEM to me. If you want to go more bold check their military green one.
