Woops. Never mind. The colour doesn't look the same when photobucket shrinks it from 300dpi. GRRRRRRR!

It's not Photobucket

I am willing to bet that I know why your image did not show up right on photobucket. The world wide web can only display a fraction of the colors that your computer can actually show. It is hard to notice that when you take picture of watches because they are all man made colors. When you are taking nature pictures, you can easily end up with a picture that contains 50 times the colors that the web can display. What you need to do is (if you use photoshop or photoshop elements) is to go to your File menu and chose "Save for web". That will ensure that all the colors in your image are Web Friendly. Once you do that, make sure that you select "Save all slices". The web works in hexadecimal codes for the colors, which is way different than the way your computer or your photo software codes them. If you select "Save for web" you will be able to preserve the color content once it is uploaded. Hope this helps.

I went to university with a guy named Bruce Barns. I keep thinking about him every time I see this title on the main page.
Last I heard he was a Major with the RCAF and flying C-130s (bus driver, ahem! ). |
