I'd suggest a calm approach vs. personal attacks while Steve and the Mods work this out.

With the astronomical prices of vintage pieces....its only a matter of time that fake vintages will come up left and right.

Ps. there's one case in TZ that a fake red sub case get passed even RSC.

Guy who sold me the watch has 1400 positive feedbacks on ebay..

I got the watch checked at the time of purchase and got it checked today through the local Pawn store. They have 5 store in Myrtle Beach .. They opened the bracelet and opened the back .. they said its Authentic ..

Again If I was scammer I would closed my account or ran away.. But I am here and best part getting insulted. Some one is putting my linkedin pictures and threatening me..

Then Kumar the watch you bought on eBay is a fake.

Sent from my LG-H901 using Tapatalk

And based on the eBay link you sent, that watch is also fake. If I were you, I would get PayPal involved.

People are going on my Linkedin and saying what ever they think they can. If I was a scammer do you think I would post every picture of stuff openly some of which is confidential.

Hey Kumar,
Based on the link you provided, it gives me the assurance that you were scammed. But your story as to u had the watch inspected and it was gen, one look at the movement and you will know it's a copy.

Listen it is also very probable that the previous owner bought a gen watch, swapped out the dial, hands, bezel, insert, Crystal and movement and replaced them with rep parts and then sold the watch as 100% gen. And then sold the gen parts for even more money.

But from what I can see in the pics, the dial, hands, bezel, insert, crystal, date wheel, and bracelet is not genuine 100%

Kumar you have to understand their position. Most scammers would come up with an excuse and how they were sold a fake watch. In your case given this purchase was done recently on ebay, may of 2016. You should contact the seller and let him know that the watch is a fake.

If you send this watch to Dallas rolex service center, I promise you it will not come back.

I deleted that post showing your personal details, it was unnecessary. Hopefully no one does that again.

I was actually in the process of requesting to have it deleted as you deleted it. You beat me to it. Thanks.

I hate the idea of somebody being scammed on here, but I was out of line. Scammer or not, I felt like I went overboard. My apologies for that.

Kumar I am no body and can't tell people what to do. But you should just be up front and try to avoid such claims as this is a gen watch and you had a pawn shop and stuff inspect it because honestly they don't know everything.

But I have to give it to you Kumar, u didn't suspect buying a sub for 5850? Doesn't that sound too good to be true.

Hey let's not even talk about u flipping it for $7k. Lol it's all OK in our capitalist society. I am no one to judge

Pawn store the watch is genuine. They opened it and checked but seems I have no other choice but to send it Rolex NY

Also I contacted the seller who sold me the watch and asked him to provide any details he has on the watch.

I hope that since the Ebay purchase was so recent you still have recourse with eBay/PayPal when you get word from RSC.

Sachal - I have seen a few people selling on Rolex Sub without paper work for $6200.. This guy was originally asking 6250 but we closed it $5800. I thought it was good deal but right now in tears .. Publicly insulted ..

I have opened a dispute against the seller on Paypal

Pawn shops get tricked and sell fakes sometimes. This is a pretty good replica. I don't know how long you have to dispute the deal w Paypal / eBay but you should investigate it.

Guys - This is what that seller wrote to me -

From: rdub_bama12
To: karankumar1984
Subject: Re: karankumar1984 has sent a question about item #112013596974, that ended on May-31-16 17:56:48 PDT - Near Mint Rolex SS Submariner black ceramic bezel, random serial # 116610
Sent Date: Jul-20-16 21:19:36 PDT

Dear karankumar1984,

Ok. I have another option. Accept my $400 partial refund on PayPal claim. Send the watch back to me. I will have my long time family friend inspect the watch for free. If there is any issue with the watch having after market parts or if it is not repairable, then I will send you a full refund.
Retain all tracking numbers and these emails so that you have proof that you sent the watch back to me, and proof of terms. I want to work with you man. I really do. We will find a solution.

If you have been assured by so many on this forum, that are obviously more knowledgable than this seller, that the watch is not authentic does it really matter what his family friend says?? I would want a full refund and would send him his watch back.

Also once the claim is closed as partial refund. You cannot open another dispute. I have had this happen in the past. Dont fall for it.
