salmon dials

I am shocked and vaguely amused by the amount of salmon dials coming out this year at SIHH. Makes me want the 5270 P even more...good thing too because it is on order!

what does everyone think is going on with the salmon dial releases?

Indeed surprised to see so many "salmon" dial new timepieces in SIHH this year.
Wish you get yours soon.

I properly love this watch! Very tempted to trade a number of my watches for this. Food for thought...

The 5124G is another salmon dial reference that I've always been drawn to.

Agreed! I think this is one of the most under-rated Patek pieces. Want one badly....

Kind of like blue dials of a few years ago. Now everyone has a breathtaking blue dial. I think salmon will be the next hot color and blue will fade in popularity a bit

I tend to go for blue dials but when first saw the Patek 5270P (at least in photos) really liked it. I am not a big fan of the perpetual calendars though.. too hard to reset.

salmon dials

It’s a chameleon dial. The lighting matters in its appearance.

I like the 5270P a lot but the Montblanc Heritage Automatic certainly scratches the white metal salmon dial itch at a much more reasonable price and it's a beautiful watch based on the pictures I've seen.
