I don't have the WG which I feel is like the 5164 hence my comment as Tom did too, but I did have the RG ceramic and so that was when I first got the same feeling, as for pics you've seen enough of that one!

I didn't buy it because I rather get the full pm bracelet version but this is a beautiful watch and more modern looking. Congrats again.

My AD in San Jose Campbell area. I'm 80% certain it's sold already because I believe 2 other people looking at it around the same were saying they were buying it in the afternoon.

This is the best Daytona dial currently available. Followed closely by the YG/Champagne with black subdials.

Congrats

Congratulations, and thanks for sharing your story with us. I recently tried on a Yacht Master with that Oysterflex strap, and the strap alone almost sold me on the watch! Glad you got it all sized to your comfort! That white gold/silver dial with the Oysterflex is likely the nicest combo I have seen yet on the Daytona. Enjoy in great health.

Cheers,
Carl

Congratulations! I myself am looking to purchase the yellow gold model! It definitely looks the part. Everyone has been telling me to go for a Daytona with a bracelet so it's easier to sell later on but I just think this one on the oysterflex looks so much better. And I believe these oysterflex Daytonas have a slightly larger case compared to the SS and other bracelet models? That's also a plus for me.

Great pics Tom, I love this dial, iconic 'Daytona' whilst the sunburst adds a lot of interest. The RG OF catches my eye too, I think it is sorely underrated as people have seen the same watch on leather for years, so it gets forgotten in the excitement of the new YG/WG models.
