Laser etched crown on crystal of white-dial Milgauss?

I have a V-series ('08-'09) white-dial Milgauss. I know the laser etched crown is deliberately hard to see, but I've gone at it with a flashlight and a loupe and can't find it. I bought it pre-owned, but completely trust the seller. Did the white-dial have that feature? I guess it could have gotten a replacement crystal. I don't really care because I have no intention of selling it, just curious.

It can be harder to see with a white dial. Did you try shining the torch (parallel to the crystal) from the 12-O'Clock mark while viewing the watch from a low angle at the 5 O'Clock mark..... It took me a few attempts before I confirmed it was present on my wife's white-dialed piece...

I think yes but it is incredibly hard to see. Stare above the 6 o clock on the crystal with a loop while shining a flashlight at an angle from the 11 oclock position. Move everything around subtly and it may pop into view. It took me awhile to spot mine.

Non-GV models have the crown etching

In just purchased a random serial white dial Milgauss from AD January 3rd and I’m almost positive it has no crown on the crystal.

Scratch that. Just used a loupe and my phone light and it’s there. Tough to see on that white!

Keep trying different angles and lighting. I had trouble on a white dial not too long ago. I bought it new from an AD but was just curious about it. Took me a while but I eventually found it.
