FM's

I love Franck Mullers. I haven't decided on my next watch, but FM is right up there. The worry is the Dep, but buying 2nd hand largely solves that.

Pros
Stylish, Rare to see, Wow factor.

Cons
New Cost, Dep, Delicate

i think they are a bit like elephants , every one knows what they look like , if you mention the word you get an instant mental picture , they are nice to stare at once in a while ,,, but would you really want one of your own.

Yup. I owned a FM Master Banker for a few months, and found ind it hard to tell the time. Not a plus for me.

He too seems to be a bit of a prodigy.

I was wondering what are you're thoughts and opinions about Franck Muller watches....the good, the bad, the ugly.

Thanks in advance!
Franck Muller makes a fine watch. They take a lot of heat for using an ETA movement even though there is nothing wrong with an ETA movement. Most high end watches at some point used ETA before going in house. The watch brand however never has really taken off or made a mark in the luxury watch community. It doesn't hold resale value and the price of a new one has dropped considerably for most of the models. It's a well made swiss watch. Just hasn't found its place as a desirable watch in the high end watch community.
