That model is hot! I actully prefer it to the current one. The centred calendar display is very nice and traditional.

Edit: I just saw that you sold it. Well the Reverso is a true classic, well done

Thanks, my friend. And, yes, Ken's is my favorite piece in JLC's current line and one of prettiest watches I've ever seen....

Thanks, Dan. I know your JLC's are equally nice (photos of your MC pushed me over the edge to obtain one of my own). I'm guessing they're taking a bit of a back seat this week

This subtly refined Reserve De Marche, shown in January, is the one that really has my eye and is now on the short list...

DiamondJack: Excellent choice!

I have been trying one of those on twice the last week at a local dealer. I really want it, but I really do not want to pay what they are asking for it... Poor me...

Thanks Fredrik

Yes I first saw it at the Salon QP exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London last year on the day of the London TRF GTG. And really liked it .

But becuse it's a limited edition of 959 pieces, it was a) hard to find, b) no deals to be had and c) what was most annoying was that when I did manage to find one, it was the display watch as the AD only ever had one..... So it had been tried on by hundreds of people before.......

In the end DavidSW came through for me with a BNIB and an early serial number which I always prefer. So maybe send him a PM.

Best of luck.....

That one is nice indeed, but personally I would have prefered if they got rid of the power reserve indicator - it is an automatic watch anyway - and centered the date register over the small seconds.

Yes I really love the mix of vintage and new and it's quite amazing how a watch designed back in 1959 can still look so contemporary

By the way, your Duometre is quite simply stunning....... Arguably the most beautiful watch out there today

I love their clocks more than their watches---absolutely stunning work of art.

I sometimes spend more time looking at the Atmos clock more than my TV!
