Thoughts on this Rolex
Opinions please
http://tulsa.craigslist.org/jwl/3735438735.html What would something like this be honestly worth? |

these modified Rolexes were quite popular in texas I believe in the 1980's, nugget finished band and case, all diamonds on it are aftermarket, band is not original, I don't know what it is worth but it's not my style at all, i'ts so modified. I would need to look at the movement and case very carefully to double check they are at least authentic, although I would never buy it anyway.

I would say about $7000 at most. But looking at it makes my eyes bleed.

Not worth it. You can do better, and for a better looking watch

Scrap value is what it's worth. Im not sure the case could be salvaged. Probably a good price would be 3-4 K

What the heck?! 65.000?!
How much can it weigh? A presidential is around 140gr, so 18ct gold for scrap and a used day-date movement is what it's worth... IMHO.
