I called the boutique in Geneva today out of curiosity about getting on the CB wait list. The sales associate was very nice but laughed in a friendly way and said no more names being added to the list as it’s currently at a 10-year wait. Oh well...

Interested to see how this impacts prices on the secondary.

I believe they started centralizing all lists a year ago.

I recently went to the boutique in LA, they also refused adding me to the waiting list as well. Then I was counter offered an octa lun in platinum. The rest was history.

Sales assistant said I could try other boutiques but she knew the NYC boutique list was also closed. I called the Geneva boutique last spring and they quoted me 18-24 months to get the CB, I foolishly didn’t put my name down because I wasn’t sure if I wanted that watch over another ALS. Dumb me!!!

I was offered one less than 2 years ago at the NYC boutique. I passed because I was chasing my JLC deepsea memovox (at the time, it was the harder to find watch as they only made about 750). Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. But I'm kind of still kicking myself. Now im about 2-3 years away on the dreaded list.

Hey look at the bright side. At least you are on the list for a watch at MSRP!

i got my first CB about 2yrs ago at well under retail. let it go within a year to help fund another piece. missed it very much, and was lucky enough to find one several months ago... but this time above retail.

so my error cost me a bit, but smitten to see how I'm still making out ok judging by the secondary going well over 30 on this rare beauty.

According to the FPJ publication, FP Journal “all lists for the Bleu are cancelled”, meaning no more people will be put on the list. Those already on the list will remain, however the wait list is 6-7 years long as they have cut production to almost half starting this year (100 pieces compared to 190 in 2018).

Wow! Makes me feel better about paying over retail a year ago for a pre-loved CB.

Have found this nice thread a bit late but here is my contribution...

I'm a sports watch guy and this piece has nearly displaced the 5167 from my wrist...

Very cool to see someone sporting this one, pun intended. I like the look. How does it wear as compared to a 5167?

Crazy to think these traded at a discount over 3 years ago.

The CB always held good pricing, new there wasn't that much of a discount as I was looking to get one. Same could be said for a bunch of pateks and rolexes, 5164, 5726, 5172r, hulk, seadweller, heck I got my 5167a for 20 percent off back in the day. Anyways I love the linesport, I'd love the new yellow one but sad they upsized it and only on a bracelet now.

Due to its greater size it fits my 18.5cm wrist better than the 67 and with 58g it's a really lightweight. Love it on the wrist...
