SEL vs Non-SEL Fit

Can anyone comment on how SEL fit vs non SEL on a 16610 Sub? It seems like the non-SEL would wrap the wrist better but would love some opinions.

I've owned both, and have a non-SEL sub currently. Not sure I could feel any difference.

I find the non-sel more comfortable on my wrist but I need to flip the bracelet to get the right fit (as has been described in previous threads) on the 5 digits

SEL vs Non-SEL Fit

Well would you agree the fit is based on the bracelet and clasp fitment? So if you like it loose, there really wouldn’t be a perceptible difference.

There is a slight offset with the SEL where the arc of the bracelet is different than the old CEL (clinky end link). For those who wear it medium to tight the SEL should feel better if you have a 7” or greater wrist. If less than 7”, the CEL would seem to wrap nicer.

But I do know the old end links had this rattle going on if you wore it medium to loose.

Thanks I have about a 7” wrist and don’t wear loose.

The older links tended to have some stretch/give in my experience. Have both in submariner.

I actually prefer the old ones, but I'm sure I'm a minority or they wouldn't have changed it.

Old ones look slightly cheaper, both gross and on close inspection.

SEL vs Non-SEL Fit

My 16610 S series came from factory with the non SEL bracelet (93150), but has the case lips which allows the use of SEL bracelets as well.

I tried both the new sub 116610 bracelet (with glide lock) and GMT 116710 bracelet (with easy link) and have to say prefer the fit of the non SEL as the bracelet wraps / contours better to my 7 inch round wrists

Non-Sel fit also depends on the style of center link that connects to the endlink.
