I have a Virgin Question... I would imagine that the correct answer is, "the year"... but why are there different colors hands on the GMT models. Are some of these interchangeable thru Rolex or can you suggest another color besides green for 2012?

Green has traditionally been used by Rolex to denote watches that have been in continuous production for 50 years. I believe a green 24hr hand is the only option with 116710...at least I have seen any others. Mine is a few years older model 16710.

Is it possible for rolex to change the bezel from an aluminum one to a ceramic? If so! Why don't people do it? I feel like there could be a nice saving there!

my every day for the last 2.5 years
this one will always be a little more special to me than the others since my dad randomly surprised me with it shortly after graduating college. (Guess it pays to use his dealer since his dealer alerted him as I was in the market for an "every day Rolex". Thanks pops!)
Being that I fly to Asia and Europe for work it's nice to know what time it is where I am (even if my body and brain think I'm still on California time) |

Love the red arrow GMTs! The most desirable Rolex no doubt.
