Explorer II 42mm Black Dial wristshots please!

Hey friends!

I've grown to love the ExplorerII and thinking of adding one to my collection, a black-dialed version. To help make my decision I would love to see wristshots of yours, I'd be honored to see them!

I'm leaning towards the new 42mm with orange GMT hand, but if you have wristshots of your 40mm with red hand, I'll be more than happy to see them!

Thanks a million and I look forward to seeing yours. :thumbs up:

Love the EX-II. I wish Rolex would brush the SS Daytona bezels like that. The glare is one of my biggest peeves.

Jim, I am undecided between the black and white Explorer, given that you have the black Daytona and black Explorer can you tell me if the Explorer's dial is a slightly different shade of black from the Daytona? I saw it at an AD and the Explorer II appeared slightly brownish, but it could have just been the light. Thanks, I love the deep black on my Daytona SS

It is a brownish colour in some lighting. The finish is 'satin', not a true matte
Have to say I went off it after a while... prefer either a true matte or the glossy enamel black
