LVc and BLNR for Smurf

I am a current lucky owner of a LVc and a BLNR. With the 116619lb being my grail watch, should I take advantage of the current premiums on my BLNR and LVc and sell both to fund a smurf being sold by a TS?

I know I will need to add a bit of funds as well and I don’t have the money to simply add the 116619lb

Any opinions on if the forum would rather have my 2 ss vs 1 pm would be appreciated

Only you could really answer that. Smurf is one of my grails but I don't think I could personally make that trade unless I was a 1 watch guy.

If you posting this then you set your mind at smurf already and have the bug in your system. So no matter what others say you need to get that bug out.

I've done it both ways...consolidated for a PM or expanded PM to steel. Bottom line, it all boils down to what you want to wear.

I will say, though, what you really need to do is consider is if you change your mind or want to add those steel pieces back at some point, what's it going to cost you to replace them and are you OK with that.

Getting a premium value should only be one factor in the equation, and while significant it’s definitely the second priority IMO. If you absolutely love the 116619 and you feel it can fill the void of losing two awesome watches, I say make the move!

If it were me (and I own both the LVC and BLNR) I wouldn’t do it. I think the 116619 is amazing though!

I would make the move. If it’s your grail than the answer is simple. Do it.

BLNR and LVC are two great watches. Both are desirable and both are fairly common. The white gold Sub is a very unique watch that you won’t see every day. I would definatley trade both of those towards the white gold Sub.

Absolutely. You are basically turning over two watches that kind of look alike in my opinion for a gorgeous single pm watch. I have never seen a surf in the wild so it is more exotic too.

If there ever was a time to do it, it'd be now with the values the Lvc and Blnr are bringing. Just remember if you want them back they'll likely be hard to source unless you want to pay a premium.

I'm a big fan of the Smurf. I'd do that swap especially if you're saying it's been a grail.

I'd trade that BLNR away but keep the LVc. I do have 3 Rolex GMT II already but really the BLNR isn't for me. And the 116619 is beautiful, and a great piece

I would. But I like the smurf more than both the hulk and blnr so I’d have no issues parting with those two.
