PAM00005 OR PAM01005? Need consensus pls.
Guys,
I'm trying to decide between this 2. I understand 1005 is newer but it looks kinda the same in the picture and so is the movement. Which one will be best to choose and will have a higher resale value? I appreciate any feedback and tia.. -j |

I agree with dp, don't buy a watch for its resale value, buy what you want to wear on your wrist.
That said, you won't get much of a debate on this one - I suspect the 005 will win by a landslide. Do a little more reading on this and make your decision based on your own priorities. When faced with a similar decision (000 vs 1000 in my case) I decided that it was worth the effort to find a NOS 000. Is it the same for you? Only you can decide that. |

If you have a chance to find 005 go for it.

005 without hesitation.
1005 is a total fail. Integrated bezel, snap-on caseback and lowering WR from 300m to 100m = Also, while I'm fairly indifferent to the 1005's spring bars, many prefer the prior screws for a Luminor. |

005 would be my choice for the exact reasons Cru mentioned.
