Rubber Gator?

Received this email last week. Seems like an interesting concept. Switching from leather to rubber is how I discovered Rubber b for Patek and a wg Daytona. Don't think I would mind having the leather look again but waterproof. Want to see pictures of the "kevlar" on the Oysterflex models. Not much of a Panerai collector but interesting nonetheless.

Received that email too, but I don't understand why they're starting with the 42mm product line instead of the more popular 44 line.

Interesting concept. Would have to see one in real life to see the texture and feel it against the skin, as it might be a bit strange to “see” leather but feel rubber.

Basically it is a rubber strap that looks like gator. Isn't some of the cheap/imitation gator straps already like that?

I believe Zenith has done with with some of their straps for a while, as well as Hirsch makes some straps like this.

Very true, I have seen the Zenith one its beautiful but its a rubber core with real gator on the top. Same thing with Hirsch, They look great but they're not waterproof. These state that they are completely made out of vulcanized rubber. But the pictures don't look like its all rubber
