Thanks gents! The 617 end links definitely had a slight crevice or protrusion against the lugs. The 560 is a perfect snug fit.

Did you have to go through a boutique or how did you find the bracelet and links? I really like that look and I am having a hard time tracking them down via the forums or ofrei.

Thanks! Oddly enough, Topper Fine Jewelers where I got the CK just had a customer trade in that exact bracelet for a racing bracelet. Pretty much LNIB for a decent discount. They are shipping it to me on Monday or Tuesday.

I'd rather be lucky than good!

Gorgeous and thank you for this shot Sir which inspired me to put the 1125/560 on my CK-2998.

Woohoo, the bracelet arrived this morning! Now I just need to get over my fear of having my hand slip and scratching the lugs!

Nice!! I did the same thing and realized the 617 end links will leave a tiny crevice. 560 will be better fit but needs shorter set of screws to accomplish a perfect fit.

CK-2998 with 1125 bracelet and 560 end links

Couldn't get the darn thing to fit. Going back to the strap before I regret it.

Edit: I have never had so much trouble with a bracelet. Are these pins 1mm too long? I swear they must be as there is no way to get this sucker on with the provided pins.

If you need more insight, Amanda the technician from the Riverside Mall Omega boutique here in NJ helped me with the install. Give her a call and she will walk you through it to make sure you are ok!

This. Amanda gave me the springbars that I needed as well.

Thanks for the tip. I'm going to take a step back and enjoy it on its strap for awhile.

I have the pliers to make that swap out a breeze, but fully compressed the spring bar was still wider than the lug width. The spring bar had to start in the hole in order to fit and I could not angle that in with the metal end link.

I'm sure nerves had something to do with it. Or I'm right and the spring bars that came with the watch are too wide for that bracelet.

Luckily I put painter's tape on my lugs when I swap bracelets, so no harm done except to my blood pressure and a few more dollars in the swear jar.

To prove to myself I knew what I was doing, I swapped my Speedy Pro back to a bracelet before coming to the conclusion that the spring bar might be too wide on the CK. Took all of 30 seconds.

Im trying to order that bracelet locally but the service centre are looking for a watch serial number. Im assuming they wont sell it for a CK2998. Did you buy yours from Omega direct?

I got mine from Topper Fine Jewelers in Burlingame, CA. I don't think they need a watch serial to do so. Try giving them a call.

Or, as others mentioned above, Jim at Continental Jewelers in Washington, DC, is a really good guy and should be able to order you one.
