Battery woes

Well, this morning my wife, I and five additional friends are headed off to the Dominican Republic for six days of silliness. I ended up wearing my Seamaster and low and behold the battery kicked out at 3:27 AM. Guess that I am stuck wearing a piece of non functional jewelry for the week.
As I write this from 35,963 feet in the air, I am getting more ticked off as I keep checking my wrist to see how much longer till we arrive.
Guess that I should not complain, as I could be at work instead.

What is this thing you call, 'battery"?

Forgive me, please, if I don't feel to sorry for you while I sit here at my desk pretending I'm working while you're on your way to the DR. I do hope you manage to have a great time, even if you won't know it.

Find some AD there and buy an automatic piece of jewelry. Have fun.

Didn't the EOL indicator went off?
