First watch was a Timex (I was about seven)
First decent watch I bought was a Seiko sports 100 Chronograph with a moonphase. I worked a whole summer to pay for it. Had a few Casio`s , first Rolex, a GMT II in SS. I`ve had a few since then. |

My first adult watch purchase was a Panerai. I sold that and picked up an Omega PO and now I have the GMT II Anniversary too. The only other one I own is what my Grandfather handed down to me. It is a gold Waltham pocket watch. I never wear it anymore but writing this now kind of reminds me that I should.

First watch ever - 1980 - old, manual wind gold Rolex Oyster (gift from my uncle).
Second watch - 1988 or so (don't exactly remember) - GMT Master red/blue (all steel). Third watch - 2002/2003 - steel & carbon Luminox. Current watch - 2007 - Sea Dweller. |

Before all the rolexes and other high end watches
i had... an OMEGA SMP bond. Years ago.. Bought it twice, sold both times. Very sad about htat. It's the one watch I'd love to have back simply for sentimental reasons. that was the first "nice" watch i got for myself. boy i was gleaming in the car! both times =) |

My first real watch before the Rolex was a pre-Tag Heuer 1000 dive watch. The entire face would illuminate in low-light conditions. Pretty cool watch.
I also had numerous Swatches before that. Then I got my Sub and have pretty much worn that consistently ever since.

I had a seiko that looked similar to a datejust with a fluted bezel and a jubilee type band, gold-tone, that I got for highschool graduation, which was my primary watch for about 10-12 years (I still have it somewhere, but it does not fit now, and I've long ago lost the extra links), and then I bought this Tag Heuer, and I bought my wife a matching, ladies size, as an anniversary present.
I pretty much wore this watch until I bought my Explorer II, which was my first automatic watch: |

I had this battle-scarred veteran before getting my Sea Dweller (I had a Datejust by that time but it wasn't a daily wearer).

First watch that I bought for myself (graduation gift for finishing College) was a Seiko 150m chronograph quartz in SS (1995). Eventually gave this to my dad for daily wear. He didn't want to wear his DJ all the time.
2003, I bought myself a Seiko 200m divers auto (SKX007 -new) In July, 2006, bought a pre owned Omega SMP Chrono (Bond) In Aug, 2006, bought my first Rolex, the 14060 E serial (pre owned); In Oct, 2006, a Steinhart Ocean GMT (new) In Nov, 2006, a Breitling Chron Avenger (new), sold the Omega SMP chrono to fund the Avenger. In Dec, 2006, a Seiko 5 In Dec, 2006, an Omega SMP 2531.80 (new - Christmas present from my wifey) In Jan, 2007, a Sea Dweller, D serial (pre owned) sold my 14060 to fund the SD In Mar, 2007, last but not least my Omega PO 42.5mm. I think that should be it! No more
