Question for London Members

I have a quick question for our members who live in London. I am going to be coming into Heathrow on a saturday in June and then will need to get to Surbiton. My question is, what's the best way to do this, taxi, train, etc? Thanks in advance.

The quickest way will be by Taxi, however if your looking at trying to keep costs down then you could do it by using the underground and then catching an overground train.

Have a look at this website, on the right there is a section called journey planner.

Definitely cab, should be 30 quid.

The tube journey isn't too bad, catch the piccadilly line to Green Park, change to eastbound jubilee to Stratford, change at Waterloo and catch the overground South West Train to Surbiton. It's the basingstoke service. It's 11 quid for a single

and how do i know? i went to surbiton to visit a friend last weekend

Hi Towernick

Surbiton is not far from me, like the others have said a cab is the best bet, Puffy is right about £30 saves mucking about on the trains

I could offer my services as a cab........only if you pick up a nice watch duty free

I'm doing that trip this summer. I cabbed it last time I went to Kingston. I agree with the others - from Heathrow a cab will not be too bad. Beats taking the Express into Paddington, then the tube to Waterloo, then the train.

It's less than 10 miles away. 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

yeah about 30 mins, 40 on a bad day.

you won't save anything moneywise if you go by public transport and it's not a bad route down in surrey
