Hi guys,I recently got a pam base000,don't mind the black calf strap,got it on a Hadley Roma at the moment but would really like an alligator with white/cream stitching.
Any recommendations for aftermarket or is OEM the best option.

For me except the canvas one, for all kind of straps go with the oem ones ..

I bought my first aftermarket strap from Bob watch bands, also known as waccex. I bought the vertigo buffalo strap and was very pleased with. For £20 you can't can't complain of the quality. I'm not prepared to hundreds on oem straps when these will do the same job. They may wear out quicker buy I can buy like 10 for the price of 1. It's fun to have so many and change up the look.

There are loads of aftermarket straps suppliers out, Google around and see what you find. Bob watch bands/Waccex are based in Germany, I bought mine direct on eBay and the guy is amazingly helpful.

That's not to say I won't ever buy oem, but for now I'm happy with getting aftermarket ones.

If you don't mind spending a bit more and waiting for it. John Glance of Dangerous9 makes some of the best straps you can get for the money,

Also check out Combat Straps, he does some amazing custom ones with high quality skins.

On your recomendation my Bob strap arrived today £20 delivered i am amazed with quality, looks as good as my original,Panerai croc one

Yes i am just on the site now selecting a few, for £20 great value. I was going to buy some original straps but i really cant see the different in quality, especially when i put my panerai buckle on, its as good as my £250 original strap!

OEM and ABP are worth the money IMHO.

The good news is you could get a Black Semi-matte OEM gator for a discount. Many people negotiate extra straps as part of the deal only just to sell them. check out paneristi.com and check out accessory corner for these types of deals.

From what I've seen the deployment straps are different to buckle straps since they are thinner.
