New member to the family.
Decided to go with the AW2. Had the 1st version and it was slow and clunky. with the AW2 they fixed most of my gripes and its a very pleasant watch to wear. I think my favorite feature are the watch face complications you can customize and the notifications. The health logs are kind of nice too. 316SS, sapphire, and ceramic back not bad either for just over $500 not to mention GPS and 50m ww. Not something you will pass down for generations but can sell and upgrade every 1.5 years for only a few 100. I can only imagine what the 3rd or 4th generation will offer.
So far have the blue, white, and black rubber strap. May pick up a tan leather down the road. IMG_7270.jpg |

Is it waterproof? Nice looking watch, can we see the blue strap? I wear my watch 24/7 and wasn't sure if this would be durable enough for me.

My wife has spent so much on Apple Watch bands that she could have bought herself a 3rd Rolex.

Well, I guess if you don't mind that your first smartwatch was not ready for prime-time and you had to buy another for a tidy sum to get the features and performance you want, it's okay.
We WISes buy watches for flimsier reasons all the time.

I just bought the Nike version last week and can see the appeal. Love the Mickey face. It'll be an exercise watch only.
