Termineated ADs
Anyone know what happens too the inventory of an AD whose franchise is cancelled? Does Rolex require it to be sold back or does the dealer keep it but without the mfr's warranty? I.e. is that a source for Trusted Sellers?

AD's own the inventory, so my guess is they sell it off as best as they can.
When our local AD was forced out of Rolex, he blew out inventory at reduced prices. |

Dealer owns the inventory. No reason warranty should be affected. |

I was told by an ex-AD that they could move the watches to another AD, but what they kept had to be sold as "certified preowned" even though still sealed, and the dealer was responsible for its own warranty. Could discount, however. Others heard this, or otherwise?

I believe that's the case after their agreement has expired, if they have remaining stock.

Usually have 90 days after losing the brand I believe. Anything sold after that is not warrantied to my knowledge. In theory the AD could probably back date every warranty card if they chose to do so

An AD chain who lost their franchise were able to sell/return unsold stock back to Rolex, I presume at cost. I don't think Rolex wanted a huge 50% off firesale.
