What year is my 5500?
It has a 630 serial. RSC told me from the early 80s, but seems a bit low for that. Is early 1980 a correct estimate?

If you mean a seven-digit case number beginning 630xxxx then my records would agree, early 1980s.

Actually more like 1980 and not 81.

Rolex told me somewhere in the early 80s, so I'm assuming its '80 considering the serial #.

Just for some further clarification. Rolex didn't give me an exact year, so I wasn't sure if it was 80 or 81. Was pretty sure it was '80, but I saw some records that looked like it could have been made in '81.

Per the charts, this watch (S. No.5650384. Model- 16013) is from 1978. Is that conclusive? Or any chance it could have been from 1976?

Charts are never "conclusive", they are estimates for research and usually within a year or two.
