Bell & Ross - Fake Pilots Watch swap for GMT Master II

Hey all,

I will take some heat from this but I am considering trading or selling my B&R 01-97 for a 116710. I grew up in the aviation biz and currently run an aviation company here outside of Seattle so I am around pilots regularly and hence why I bought the B&R. But is seems like such a poseur piece....Ok, so the plan or proposal is the following. Sell/Trade the B&R for a GMT or keep and buy the GMT. Either way I am buying a GMT, I sold my Explorer II last year and miss having a Rolex. Thoughts?

James

If you feel like you're wearing a "poseur piece" with the B&R then sell it. If you like it, keep it. Either way, I agree that you need the GMT.

I actually like your B&R. Don't really get how it's a poser piece?
By the same logic wouldn't that make a Rolex Sub a poser piece for anyone that doesn't scuba dive?

But if you don't like owning it, then sell it.

I love my 2 B&R's and neither make me feel like a poser. If anything my Deepsea should more!

Resale isn't very much on B&R, I'd keep it and buy the GMT

Those are great looking B&Rs, the strap on the second one is awesome.

Which GMT? I had the black one, thought it was too similar to my Sub, got a BLNR.

A watch is a watch. Only the wearer can be potentially described as a poser, regardless of the brand.

Swap B&R for a SINN? And get the GMT? I have the SINN, and about 90% the GMT will be my next.

SINN made B&R for a while, plus are much less "posser" (not that the B&R is, but I see what you are saying).

OR just keep the B&R, yours looks really good compared to many and fits your lifestyle.

You will never regret selling the watch you don't sell . . . ;)

Get GMT, replace B&R with IWC Pilot's Chrono.
