Anyone has any references on when rolex change from dot to logo for all day dates 18k authenticity. Particularly which year? |

I mean, how to know those 18k bezels for day dates are genuine from Rolex factory? From 1803 era to 18038 till now? What are the stamps to know they are genuine from rolex? |

It's not the year that matters - it's the crystal. And that isn't the way to tell a replica - the fakirs know how to punch dots or crowns on their handiwork...
1803 with acrylic is the older version and when the switch to sapphire occurred, the bezel changed. To the untrained and unaided eye, the logo version also looks like a dot until you see it with a loupe (or have very good eyesight). Dot, or Not? Not... But I'd say 1978 with the quick-set and sapphire in the 18038 is the right timeframe for the switchover.
