6694 Oysterdate correct box
So I bought this nice 6694, 1960s, birth year watch (any excuse, I know) and I really like it. Elegant, no nonsense, not too big, fab watch.
My question is, what sort of boxes were these watches sold with back in the 1960s? I don't want to spend a lot of money, it's just that I feel it needs a nice home while not on my wrist. Any ideas please? |

A correct box from the 60s will run you upwards of $400 if you can find one. They are pretty scarce going that far back.

I know boxes from the 60s can be quite expensive. I am just curious to know as to which box would be the right one for a 6694.

Here is the correct style for reference. Wrong inner card for a 6694 though. Also, the white outer box with green stripe is correct for the era: http://www.ebay.com/itm/OLD-ROLEX-62...UAAOSwo4pYiMMK Here is a box only with no outer box: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ROLE...3D142109718029
