Looks fantastic, I just booked the best 2 Michelin Japanese in London for Mother's Day. Their 100g Wagyu steak is graded 11 but costs £90 so will have to think about it.

Wagyu fried rice , they bring this dish out on a sizzling hot pan , with an egg in the middle , the waiter then proceeds to mix it all up and the egg cooks And scrambles in it

This was a very detailed thread where I could almost TASTE what you were writing about. Very elegant writing!

I enjoyed the experience, although I'm sure not as much as you ACTUALLY did ha.

Ahhh thanks !

I must say it was amazing , the food , the service , the environment.

Go visit Japan. The food is amazing, and it's an easy and hugely entertaining place to go.

Has Michelin ever done reviews in Australia? There are probably plenty of restaurants there that would earn stars

The food you posted looks better than a lot of the 1-star restaurants here, IMO

"Where would you like to be seated sir ?" , how bout this long table right smack bam in the middle :) - "ok Done!"

What is this table , its awesome , haha look at the Colors / pattern in the marble

That's special

That's nice marble, look at those veins. Im surprised that that's being used instead of granite due to marble reacting with acid, like lemons or some cleaning products with high acid contents. Doesn't look synthetic to me.

If you cut that right and use as tables or a very long kitchen counter with back splash you can run those veins together to form a pattern looking like it's one piece of marble. A very good fabrication company can do great things with veins like that. I love that look very much.

Those veins can run down the back splash along the counter then back up the back splash in one continuous line. I've had that and looks amazing. I'm kinda amazed it's not granite in a high volume resturant. The dinner looks good but that stone is crazy

Pretty reasonable, especially given the area. The old saying is 'Double Bay is Double Pay'!

That's right they don't review here , certainly many restaurants would get rated quite well you would think.

The main advantage we have is the produce is very fresh , I mean it is an entire continent with only 20 something million living there lol , if you can't find fresh seafood or a nice steak then where can you :)

even be ranked higher than the UK
