Let's count the ways this isn't a genuine 1655

http://cgi.ebay.com/1983-Rolex-Explo...item1c0dd44ce7

Yet another "T Swiss T" dial with the wrong style coronet

Yet another "T Swiss T" dial with the "T's in the wrong position (inside the minute markers)

Bezel does not cover the case near the crown (Stan's favorite test)

Bezel markings look off

Orange hand looks off--remarkable lack of "patina" as compared to dial and other hands

Others? Bracelet experts migh have some things to add.

Feel free to add to the list

The seller gaurantees 100% authenticity on all the other rolex's he has sold.
This one looks like it came from a neighboring state AZ.
Seller says in the ad:The watches I am selling came as pictured from a unclaimed safe deposit box. They were in the box for over thirty years and look really minty for their age. Either seller is flat out lying or was lied to as for being in a safe deposit box for 30 years. They didnt make fakes this good 10 years ago let alone 30 years ago.

I emailed the seller my concerns and this was her response: Sorry about the math. The contents of the box are from the
1940 through the 1970 era. The box was last paid through
1998, I had a Rolex certified watchmaker check both watches
for authenticy and working condition. Both of these watches are
guaranteed to be 100% original or money cheerfully refunded
within the 7 day return period before we pay the bank. The
watches were in the box for prehaps 25 instead of thirty years.
Thank you for your interest. Linda

I think this is the same seller (dark_night or something like that) with a new user name.

Notice there is no direct mention of the findings of the watchmakers. She only says she had it checked. And, she only guarantees it to be 100% original... as in 100% original fake I would assume.

If you're honest you leave no doubt.

I think it's still on Ebay. The seller has a "star" (over 500 sales) with 100% positive feedback!
