opinions on this watch
Hello,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Rolex-Datejust-M...item1c0dd3c773 I'm new to the Rolex world and looking for a 1971 Rolex (year I was born). Are Rolex watches from 1971 hard to find? I found this one on eBay and would like to get some opinions from the members here. Does it look ok (real)? Any input is appreciated. Thanks, Steve |

You may want to ask the seller for photo showing the serial number (or at least the 1st few characters) this will help date the watch (which should match-up with the 1971 year as posted). For a 1971 watch, the serial should be a seven digit number starting with 321 (i.e., 321####).

The watch looks legit, and he did purchase this from interwatches last year in Sep-22-08, Its a bit of a no no using the original photos from interwatches, but he could have permission from them.
Overall the watch looks good to me
