Is this real?
Hey guys I am a new member here and looking to pick up my first submariner, possibly pre-owned. I saw this photo on ebay and was curious if anyone could identify if this is what the back of a submariner case actually looked like, on any years model. Sorry if this thread is something that is reoccuring, I am still getting used to the forum.

Welcome to TRF
That link isn't working for me, do you have the item number?

The Ebay item number does not exist or it's incorrect.

Well the reason why is because it was taken down, so I guess it wasn't.
Is ebay the best bet for me to find a decent used sub date? I am looking to spend around $3500 or so. |

for that price you could buy a nice 14060 nd sub with box and papers. It is a good entry level model, look for a seller with good established feedback for selling rolex's or any other high end model watch. Ebay is a good place to buy, but just be careful, I guess you can always ask the forum like you have, with any potential find...good luck

Look in the For Sale sub-forum. Many honest sellers there.

or if your into gold you could get an 1803 18k DD, for 3.5k it will not come with 18k bracelet. But you could still get a real nice looking 18k beater
