Hard to tell. The bezel looks like it might but can't see the red second hand.

I think there's numbers on the bezel. I'm betting it's a TOG

Fun thread!
Anyone know what Gordon Ramsay is wearing in this video? It looks like an older GMT but it has black/white bezel. Definitely has the oyster case.

You can make out the 12'o clock marker on the bezel is rotated.

I was watching an ancient episode of Mythbusters today and saw Adam wearing a GMT-Master (while working in the metal shop <gasp>). Unusual because he normally sports an Omega PO.

PICTURE THREAD! Rolex Spotting >>>>>>>>

Was watching the Oscars and noticed Ryan Gosling with a Rolex on. The oyster bracelet was a giveaway. Did some research and found out that it's a 60's Ref 5500 Air King with a 3-6-9 dial, arrowhead markers, and dauphine hands. It's his personal watch, apparently. I find it very cool that an actor of his stature would opt for a vintage Air King!

Very cool. Is it just me, or does it kind of look like his crown is unscrewed?

It does look unscrewed. Though the crown on this model does look bigger compared to the case, more so than other Rolex models with no crown guard. Difficult to tell.

Here's another pic of him wearing it at the Golden Globes:

With all the talk about how 36mm watches look like girl's watches today, it nice to see a 34 mm Air King being openly worn by someone who is obviously doing so as a fashion choice. My 36mm Datejust says thank you.

It's a girly watch. Ryan has girly-man wrists.

In fact, I agree with you. I'm sick of big watches. Ryan's A.K. is a beauty.

Shouldn't his hands be positioned affixed to either side of his throat in this photo?

About Tom Selleck wearing a Datejust on Blue Bloods --- interestingly, he mentioned this "Rolex" on one of the late night shows a couple years ago (talking to Stephen Colbert?) and said he'd picked up a replica and engraved it with his character's kids' names and wears it on the show to enhance becoming the character.

Sw this in a small museum in the san fernando valley. Robert Redford cardboard cutout from the movie 'Electric Horseman'.

It's blown up to a huge size, and very fuzzy, but up close, I could see a red line on this Submariner. Goofy bracelet....

Roger Federer

Was watching R.Fed on the tv while I was at the gym today. Amazing that this guy is still at it.

Here are a few of my famous crappy photographs taken at the newsstand. Roger hugging his trophy with that fur thing around him is more about Roger than I need to know.

Chip on "fixer upper" always wears a Sub backwards and he does not question the "tool" watch of Rolex. He wears this thing doing some serious work.

This was on TV today. Reruns on Starz Network. It's the show that introduced me to the GMT Master II Pepsi that I got today, after a 30+ year obsession.

Great show. Great theme. Great decade (only because I was young and pretty in those days ).

Now, are we sure it was a GMT II? There is something about that picture that makes me think 1) prop watch or 2) GMT I.
