Patience is a virtue.....

...and almost always rewarded.

For a year and a half I was looking for a dial that had haunted me.
Of course I was looking at a reasonable price.
The prices I found fallen far short of being reasonable.

Each time that i was about to get it something was happening in the last minute and the opportunity flew away.

Today, after so much patience my efforts vindicated.

I am so happy that I want to scream.

Without further ado I present the object of my desire
Better pics will follow.

Thank you guys and gals

I'll wait a few days more (is nothing in comparison with a year and a half ) for the easy part of my modification. The four red hands (chrono and the 3 subdials).

Mark took the lead here and i followed his steps

It is a pity that mama company doesn't have this dial as an option to the SS version and we have to walk all the possible and impossible ways to source it.

I don't think that i'll get much sleep tonight.

Didn't i mention how excited i am ?

With the hands to go with that dial you've basically got a whole new watch.
Congrats

Panos,

A dial change for you too, on one of your beautiful chronos!

I like it!

Very much so.

That dial is b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l on picture but absolutely *** stunning *** in real life.

The change will be great!

Best regards from your Tudor friend,

Anders

My thoughts exactly. The 18k white gold version has a similar dial as an option but I've never understood why the SS buyers aren't given the same. Could it be the possible detraction from the collectibility of the older Daytonas or a scheme to get us to pay more by only offering that style in TT or 18k? Could never understand.
