She lived in California for a while when she was married to my brother - the Northridge earthquake sent them back to Oklahoma.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but why not send her 27 3 line emails. That speaks of your ability to problem solve.

she's a family friend. heard from her a few days after the earthquake...took her forever to get to a nearby relative because the trains were down. but her entire family is ok
