Manny is a class act. On another thread someone 'joked' (I hope) that his pay day wasn't bad for 40 minutes work. It's actually 3-4 months of unbelievable dedication, commitment and hard hard work. Diet restrictions, a load of exercise and ultimately 40 minutes of the hardest physical thing in the world including putting your life on the line in front of millions and millions of people!
Fair play to him, time for Mayweather to quit his excuses and get the fight on! |

After last nights performance I expect Mayweather to get the fight signed now (with or without the test)
As much as I like Pacman Mayweather will outfoxed him in everyday. He appears to be looking a bit older now & the wars seen to be catching up on him

Mayweather is too scared to fight Manny. I don't see the fight ever happening. Even though Manny didn't look that great last night Manny will prepare for Mayweather. Manny is such a well conditioned machine and so quick. I love how people are suddenly saying Manny P. has lost it etc and Mayweather will whip him now after one mediocre fight. This guy has been beating people to a pulp fight after fight after fight regardless which weight class it is.

I would of been upset had I paid 50$ for that fight, thank my stars I found a stream for it. Shane couldn't do anything but throw the left jab ,and He never even used his speed, not to mention he didn't throw but 2 combinations the whole fight.

Does everyone remember the Mosley/Mayweather fight a year ago? Another pretty lame fight. Mosley is washed up. I don't know why he keeps getting signed for fights.

I did think yesterday when I watched the weigh in how much these two seemed like buddy's than about to fight in from of millions for a world title Gary Mosley gets the fight because he is a know name and offered a good payday for little risk. Unfortantly it's all about the $£. That's why the Mayweather fight should get made

Would be a good fight but think Manny would be too strong at 147 now but Marquez come to fight and would want to prove a point We'll have to see if the Mayweather fight can get put together first

Sky cocked it up for me, had it on planner to record, got up this morning & sat through all the warm up, pre fights etc & got to a minute into the Paquiao fight when the recording stopped, Sky only had it scheduled till 5am instead of 6.....gotta wait for the re-run, bummer

the Vasquez fight was great, was screaming at the TV in the last round for him to finish Vasquez & ended up waking the wife up, then got settled into the first round of Pacquiao & the bugger ended....Sky did the very same thing for the last fight too

old Mayweather don't want the fight as he knows he'll lose & the career will be all over, no more 'mo money'

I saw the fight...pretty lame (hesitate to use the word "effort") by Sugar Shane...I kept wondering why he wouldn't try to win at the end, given that he was so obviously down in points...unless he has no desire to fight at the top tier any more.

Mayweather could have made this fight happen, especially the second time around but he is clearly scared to fight Manny. He will probably say yes when Manny is too old or decides to retire but with all this money on the table even Mayweather fans can't seem to find a real reason why he won't say yes to the fight. After every Pacman fight both Manny and Freddie call Mayweather out like you wouldn't believe but of course no response from Mayweather....

Mayweather has NEVER fought a great fighter in his prime. He will fight Pacquiao when they are 50.
