the patent link has been posted here before about a dozen times. and it was available before the day/night GMT2 was revealed. it's not even so much about the process, making a red bezel isn't that difficult for Rolex now, making a seamless blue and red is another story. and do they even want to.

a coke bezel sure, but come on, do you think they would release that a year after the day/night GMT2.
many ad's haven't even received their first allotment yet. hundreds, thousands of people haven't even had the opportunity to even see one yet, and you think with the buzz on that one they'll release a coke.

watchprosite, watch time..... and every other media source only needs to mention this silly illegitimate rumor and the website gets about a thousand extra hits from dreamers who think they somehow managed insider information.

this topic has been and beaten to death since winter 2012. the red and blue bezel is a No-Go Ghostrider, the pattern is full.

Rolex keeps it's secrets tighter than the CIA, there's not even wiki-leaks on them.

you wanna pepsi, it's already here or watch Magnum PI reruns.

This again? It's like talking to children on here sometimes. All you need is a fraction of historical perspective on Rolex releases coupled with a little marketing knowledge to know that there is not a chance this happening any time in the near future. No way, no how, not happening.

I wish they'd bail on the ceramic and go back to al-you-min-ium and lugholes. Ceramic was just change for the sake of change and made the watches more fragile. Not my cup o tea.

Ceramic, of course. Anyone know more about this? Any specific info? Thanks.
Ask the source? They seem to know

Yes or no, it's all puuuure guesswork, nobody here knows.
That's the only truth.
I LOVE the the self applied gravitas and not a little agrandizement applied to some of the nay sayers alleged expertise in the matter. (Yes, you know who you are).
I say, let the children play, it's good for them!

Anyway, I know it's coming, my mate, (Big Keith) in the pub told me, and he's got a degree in Humanities, ..........he knows stuff!!

How about this as a heartbreaker - Rolex introduces pepsi GMT ceramic.

But only available on white gold or platinum.

More fragile? No, they're not. Maybe more expensive to fix if you do manage to damage one, but they're not more fragile by any means.

Are you saying that the Aluminium Insert is as fragile as the Ceramic Insert?

With an aftermarket bezel, anyone can have a sapphire/ruby Pepsi. Same as with black diamonds and ruby..voila...Coke.

I know...I said aftermarket...I haven't been struck down by lightning yet. LOL

To add...that Coke bezel is gorgeous. I love the deep red if they should ever go in that direction. Id never be able to wear the new squared off casings..but nice to admire. :-)

I truly hope Rolex never makes a new Coke or Pepsi GMT. They should go never go back only forward. Let the old styles become true vintage. Just my 2 cents

Not sure which grail I want more......a ceramic Pepsi GMT or a cure for baldness. Think I would sell a kidney for either one.

I need all three, two for certain. Give me your address, I might need the kidney!

In that case you could get both.

The Rolex marketing machine is a juggernaut. There is no way they would destroy all the buzz over the BLNR at this point by introducing another bi-color variant, especially a Coke or Pepsi. And even if you don't agree with this, it's highly doubtful they would release anything this attention grabbing and historically inspired in 2014 what with the 100th anniversary of the company coming in 2015 (under the name Rolex).
