Is this a fake 114060 Sub

Hi RF, I recently purchased a BNIB 114060 from a very reputable seller here. It came with all the paperwork. I also had my local AD sizing it for me. So I was pretty sure that this was a genuine piece. Until last night, I took the bracelet off for the 1st time to try on some new straps. I noticed on the 12 o'clock side, there's the correct reference number "Org Rolex Design 114060" but on the 6 o'clock side, it only says "Stainless Steel" with no serial. Does this mean that it is a fake?

Thank you so much for all your help!

I doubt an authorized dealer would have sized it but without any pictures I am not sure what you want people here to do.

If it has the serial # on the rehaut it won't have it between the lugs.

if it is the new ceramic style sub with the serial on the rehaut like mon said then it will not have the serial number between the lugs.

However if it is the old aluminum bezel type with the serial on the rehaut then it would have the serial between the lugs as well as the 6 o clock side on the rehaut.

If you really have concerns about about a product from "very reputable seller", wouldn't your first move be to contact him with your concern, as opposed to announce it to the entire population before you even know if it's valid? Just curious.

Thanks for all your input guys. Mine is the newer ceramic sub and I do have correct serial on the rehaut. I was just a bit shocked not seeing it between the lugs after reading a lot on how to authenticate a sub. Again TRF is so great and saved the day!

Just curious, if you bought the watch from a "very reputable seller" and you also took it to an AD to look the watch over and have it sized....why are you still trying to authenticate it?

Welcome to the forums!

You've already answered your own question based on the model number posted. Your serial number is posted at the 6 positions on the rehaut just above where it says Swiss Made.

Enjoy your new sub, it's a great watch!

Also, take the time to familiarize yourself w/ the forum rules...no discussion of fakes! Next time, you could alway PM a knowledgeable forum member with your concerns regarding authenticity.
