The only time I take my Sub off is in the shower, when I clean my wrist and lightly wash the watch using a toothbrush that I keep in the shower. Actually, I also take it off for a second when I get out of the shower, in order to dry ithe watchand my wrist.

My main concern with wearing my Rolex in the shower every day is the buildup of soap scum. I was looking at my Gucci watch a few days ago and all the crevices of the watch were filled with gunk and film, probably from a combination of soap scum and skin oils. I periodically cleaned my Gucci watch but it still had buildup...
like all my other watches that i wear 24/7, i wore my 116610 for period of half a year every day, just like you did your gucci, and there was white soap scum behind the SELs when i took the bracelet off.

my new regime (for my new watch) is to leave the watch soaking in a cup of fresh water while i am in the shower, then rub any oils off with my fingers under the running shower head and strap it back on before i get out.

so far, so good.

to be fair, i think the scum would not really affect a modern rolex bracelet (wear/tear). so you can wear it anyway you want.

Dropping it on the tile floor is the only downside afaik. I don't like to wear mine since I have to loose it anyways in order to dry my wrist. I have skin problems if I leave it on and don't dry afterwards.

I wear a swim watch when I swim but it comes off before the shower and my regular watch goes on after toweling.

I've decided I'll wear mine cutting grass, straight to the shower, a dip in the pool, whatever. I bought it to enjoy .

Heck I can go to my old place of employment and use the ultrasonic and steamer on the bracelet if I want.

I’ve found after 4 years of research that showering is fine with my Ceramic Sub... the only thing to look out for is soap scum. I only take it off to shower if I have to use a soap bar or am I an area with really hard water because it will create a nasty film on everything. Other than that I never take it off.

I just make sure to clean mine every month or so with a soft bristle children’s toothbrush (Dora the Explorer) and a drop of dish soap (Palmolive). Give it a quick little scrub and it comes out sparkling!

This. I add also some vinegar and they come out brilliant, then a final rinse with demineralized water. I use a little plastic bowl for this "bathing".. in the shower the hard corners are too many to keep watches on.

Yes! Be careful. Happened to me once. I don’t wear them in the shower anymore.

I typically take my watch off when I shower. I will however rinse it down every now and then with some warm water to take off dirt buildup and such.

GO HAWKS!
I've always cleaned all of my watches this way. Then soft towel them dry.

Will not hurt your watch. Personally I take off my watch under the shower for worries I will hit the wall with the glass of the watch when drying out the shower and breaking the glass. For that means an expensive visit to the Rolex Service Centre. Otherwise I keep him always on, in the pool, in the gym, during the night and any other activity.

Wear all your Rolex watches in the shower. Rotate them so there are no jealousy issues!

What a joyless existence it must be to have to worry about a watch this much.
