Day-Date Question
Hi All,
A friend of mine has asked me to help him find a Day-Date. Being more familiar with sport models, I've just started to do a little research on his behalf. I've seen some nice 1803's and 18038's, but I can't help but think that a more modern 11838 is going to require service less frequently. My main question is, when did the Day-Date go from a 15XX movement to a high-beat 30XX (3055?) movement? Ultimately I want to help my friend find a watch that won't require service too frequently, and that RSC won't turn away. Thanks for your help. -GW |
