Help to identify?
How do I determine what brand/model/movement this watch is? It was my fathers that was re-cased and dial "refinished" in the mid 80s. I believe he purchased it before going to Korea as a 2nd Lieutenant in the early 50s.

Could be a Mido, they were popular in the PXs and the dials were frequently refinished. If you get the back open, compare the movement to Mido Multiforte.
