Icon6 I just bought a 116713LN

On paper I should hate this watch. I've never been a huge fan of the GMT and I certainly do not like two-tone watches (they scream Cadillac-driving Florida retiree to me--no offence). Yet here I am, with a fresh-from-the-AD 116713LN on my wrist, and I'm in love.

Context, however, is everything. As I said above, on paper I should hate this watch. But that's because it wasn't until I was in Hong Kong last month and saw a couple of people wearing the watch for the first time that I began to understand it's appeal and recognize it's beauty. Something about the glossy Cerachrom bezel, paired with the polished gold centre links and brushed stainless steal just seems to work (at least in my eyes).

I've never done such a rapid 180 on anything in my life, but I think this one's a keeper

Congrats! It's a great looking piece. I am a fan. I love the TT with the anniversary dial mod.

I'm with you about two-tone watches but that actually looks really nice. Congrats!

Congrats on 'seeing the light', lol. You'll absolutely love this watch. It's equal parts handsome, unique, & functional, and it features a stunning, synergistic mix of colors and visual design cues. I hope you enjoy your new 116713 to the fullest! Mine says hello..

Many things are said here on the forum from people who haven't actuall wore the particular watch they are criticizing. Things change fast when you slip that watch on the wrist that's for sure! Great watch, looks great!

Beautiful, I'm thinking of adding that to my BLNR.

That hint of green really makes it 'pop' as opposed to the 116613ln which is rather bland in comparison..
