I really like it but I am afraid that I cannot afford it.
How about releasing a SS version?

Two tone Daytona seems unlikely to me. SS needs to be milked a bit more first...

I always think they'll do a TT RG Coke.

Hey I also thought they'll never do a ceramic Daytona in SS, so who knows...

Maybe SS Coke is another way to drive us crazy with markups and wait list....

Uproar. No doubt.

But I'd immediately start scheming on how to get one. Saving like a fiend.

Am I the only one who thinks the black/blue might still be nicer than the black/red? The 50th SD does look sleek.

No. I'd argue BLNR is more versatile and subtle compared to coke. Not sure I could stop myself from buying it though

black/blue is indeed very nice, but the problem remains that it's very close to the all black model (that i currently have). i will surely consider to buy the black/red in addition to the all black, but not the black/blue.

Thanks for the link, there seems to be model variants to be introduced than I thought. All of them are very neat but decrease in size for DJ is not something I would like.
However, unless officially confirmed these are just renderings as close to what Rolex would make

Yep. He's been right before.

Just what my wallet needs, a RED/BLACK GMT and a BLUE letter SD.

Plus there are other blue bezel and blue dial models, red would be a unique outlier.

A SS Pepsi would be my dream. I would buy it immediately... I'm actually waiting to see what happens before I pull the trigger on a TT GMTIIc. On the other hand how long would it take me to actually source a SS Pepsi at retail

Agree, some pretty cool watches, the only one I say can not happen is the DJ41 being dropped to 40.

SD 50th edition is tempting and will be a great buy. Wish it had a dark blue dial.

Same here, but I only want it in SS.

Today, my AD guy called about BLNR in stock at one of their locations. After getting my wife's final approval, I called my AD guy and the deal was good to go. A few minutes after I hung up the phone, he called me back and told me that it was sold at the other location. Oh well.

I think a lot of these picks are lazy and uninformed. Rolex just refined the Datejust 41 in two tone and added the Jubilee bracelet. They aren't going to size down further. The easiest pick these predictors could have made was a stainless steel Datejust 41 with a Jubilee bracelet and they didn't.

I think the Coke GMT-Master II is wishful thinking as always. I'd like to see the line drop the anniversary green hints on their models. Maybe add a rootbeer configuration in two tone.

The Yachtmaster is anyone's guess. Rolex has been expanding this line in particular. I could see maybe some of these variations coming to light. It seems like the Yachtmaster is the reference that Rolex enjoys tweaking and playing with the most since it isn't as traditional as the Submariner.

I feel as though adding an annual calendar complication to the Day Date would make the Sky-Dweller irrelevant. I am also not sure that Rolex would mess with this model in this fashion.

If anything I think the Monochrome predictions tend to be more accurate.

I agree Paul, this doesn't make sense to have taken if from DJ2 to Dj41 and then down to 40 ......

Part of me wonders if the SD 50th piece is a bit akin to what happened with the DBlue dial and the DSSD. Perhaps a way to improve sales of the Sd4k.

I'd like to see the no date sub with matt black finish on the dial and bezel. Perhaps 10% of production can have some red text on the dial for a $1000 premium.

something tells me that Rolex does not care about 'sales'......i really mean that......clearly there cutting back on ss models especially in the UK apparently....

also the ss daytona could sell like hot cakes if rolex simply released more.....this isn't a capability problem.....

so on one hand there are some that say certain models are slow sellers ex:SD4K and that rolex could potentially make a change to increase sales...

than on the other hand rolex knows it could sell a lot more daytona ss models YET simply will not release them....

its pretty clear Rolex being a trust and not a profit driven company simply does not care about 'sales'....

Any idea whether Rolex intends to discontinue the Platona in the near future?
