Determining 78360 link authenticity?
Hello,
I'm trying to add a link to my 78360 bracelet, and would love to make sure it's authentic Rolex and period correct. I've read that one can determine authenticity by looking at the screws, but couldn't find any further details. Can anybody shed any more light? And possibly steer me in the right direction to find one, aside from eBay please? PM's welcome on an appropriate pice to pay for a link too, if possible. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hi
The link you are looking for may be 32-20684 though someone else might confirm. Should still be available from RSC? Good luck! |

78360 links are hollow where the screw passes through the link. Most of the aftermarket ones are solid with a hole drilled in it for the screw to pass through. Also, the center section on a genuine link moves back and forth and aftermarket links normally have a fixed center section in the link that does not move.
Below is an ebay auction which appears to be a genuine link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ROLEX-Oyster...AAAOSwZQRYV0md Below is an ebay auction with an aftermarket link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LINK-FOR-ROL...cAAOSwtnpXkl6l
